Showroom Design 1

Our team was tasked with creating a unique and moody showroom experience for customers that would sit behind a glass windows. Our approach was to highlight on the forms of our hardware, allowing them to speak for themselves.

INSPIRATION

Due to the special glass-space that was allocated to our company, we wanted to create something that felt highly interactive. We pursued a museum-inspired showroom, to promote a "look before you touch" feel to the hardware, and inviting the customer to read into the brand story first.

PROPOSED CONCEPT

The proposed concept creates visual leader lines with the hardware, to etched brass storyboarding at the footer of the display, creating dynamic visual interest for customers. Black boards allow the hardware to stand out and have the silhouettes speak for themselves, complimented by collection names in brass-colored vinyl.

INTENTION WITH DETAIL

The hardware on each display was laid out to create visual lines from top to bottom, creating a story that started with door hardware, and ended with cabinet hardware. The finishes for each collection were chosen to show off our facilities capabilities.

INSTALLATION

The final installation shows off a variety of the company's hardware manufacturing capabilities, while still allowing users to interact with the display, by pushing the glass back.
